The course is designed to challenge students to take control of all aspects of creating and performing their own original immersive production. Students will be asked to work collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment. The course will include improvised acting, sharing works in progress, and engaging with the business and technological aspects of the industry. If you are uncomfortable performing in an intimate setting, this course may not be for you.
The course will require students to complete work on their own productions in their own time outside of class. This time is unstructured, and is generally spent devising and developing concepts and content for their original productions rather than completing homework assignments.
The showcase is open to any and all audiences who wish to attend. Industry professionals will be invited, but there is no guarantee of attendance.
Unfortunately, no. Once you have committed to the course, you will be required to pay the course fees in full. Refunds will only be given in the unlikely event of a full course cancellation by Ludens Theatre Company or Theatre Deli.
