Utilizing unique gameplay elements, this production challenges you to govern your settlements using brand new immersive technology, build unprecedented scientific advancements with your own hands, and outwit rival colonies in a military coup. Explore a custom-built world that responds and reacts to your every move, just be prepared to grapple with the consequences. Humanity's future is yours to control. What will you do with it?
This is a R&D/workshop performance of a complete show. Terraforming Mars was first shown as part of Watford Palace Theatre's Agitate Programme and now goes on to bring new exciting features for you to try.
The key change will be two shows in one. Ludens Theatre are delighted to bring a new element of competition to the show, where two competing audiences will be looking to colonise Mars, each representing a separate corporation. Audiences will decide to work together to save humanity, or fight for the oppertunity to be the new power in this strange alien world.
This is an immersive theatre production and by is nature is highly interactive. Audiences will be expected to interact with the characters and each other, making decisions which effect the outcome of the show. There will be plenty of activity so it is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes as much of the experience will be spent in standing or in motion.
